I began photography around age 8 when I received a Brownie camera, as a birthday or Christmas gift and I was off and running. It used size 828 film, a commodity I could never get enough of since at that age I was dependent on the Bank of Mom for my finances.

After trying a couple of other paths, I chose photography as my career path in my mid-twenties. My commercial clients included banks, colleges, utility companies, hospitals, airlines, developers, and PR agencies. Most of my work was in the days of analog photography.

I learned a lot along the way, met some fascinating people, found myself in some interesting and some very odd places!

Primarily retired, I now do photography for my own enjoyment. My work can be seen here, and I try to update my blog with what I hope are useful tidbits and techniques.
